Decision Required: Whether to approve.
Attached is a grant request from CPRC.
2. Discussion – Cheverly Community Market
Decision Required: Whether to approve.
Attached is a grant request from the Cheverly Community Market.
3. Discussion – Police Hiring Incentives
Decision Required: Whether to consider ways to enhance police hiring.
Attached is a memorandum from Chief Robshaw regarding various incentives for consideration in order to enhance police recruiting..
4. Discussion – Building Use Requirements
Decision Required: Whether to take a position.
Attached is a memorandum with information from discussions with the Town’s insurance carrier.
5. Ordinance O-4-18 Compliance with Healthy Working Families’ Act
Decision Required: Whether to take introduce.
Attached is the proposed Ordinance to bring the Town into compliance with State requirements..
6. MML Review
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor and Council will review many of the items presented at the MML Conference.
7. Employee Survey
Decision Required: Whether to move forward.
The Mayor and Council asked the staff to contact an expert in the field of surveys to see if one could be devised to poll the Cheverly Public Works Employees.
8. Curbside Composting
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor has placed this item on the agenda and will address. Mr. Torres has prepared a memorandum regarding the subject.
9. SE for Hotel/Motel
Decision Required: Whether to consider.
The Town has been asked if they would consider a Special Exception for a potential Hotel/Motel in Cheverly. The inquiry is preliminary.
